“When you buy from an independent artist, you are buying more than just a painting. You are buying hundreds of hours of experimentation and thousands of failures.
You are buying days, weeks, months, years of frustration and moments of pure joy. You are buying nights of worry about paying the rent, having enough money to eat, having enough money to feed the children, the birds, the dog.
You aren’t just buying a thing, you are buying a piece of heart, part of a soul, a private moment in someone’s life.
Most importantly, you are buying that artist more time to do something they are truly passionate about; something that makes all the above worth the fear and the doubt; something that puts the life into the living.”

The quote above is very special to me. I started painting my pop art paintings about 4 years ago and have practiced so much to make them more realistic, detailed and for them to have their own signature flare which differs from the photos i was inspired by. I've practiced so much that i now have developed back issues from painting for such long stretches at a time, scoliosis and bulging discs, but it's a small price to pay in my eyes.
To the right is a photo of the first pop art i did, beside it is one I completed recently. They both have the exact same numbers of gray values, tons of experimentation, endless hours of practice and trying new things out to make them look special. I don't create for the money/fame as you can see by my prices, i create because i HAVE to :D

Pop Art Paintings disclaimer; Obviously, like I've stated before, i require a photo to work from to create my pop art paintings, like most artists. Pop art, is 'pop culture' art, so iconic photos are the best way to go. If the photo was not taken by myself (again its obviously i didn't go photograph Einstein myself or any other celebrities) i do not want the credit for the image and have found all images in the public domain. And i state on each photo where the image was found and if the photographer is mentioned i gladly credit them. If it wasn't for their photography most pop art paintings in the world would cease to exist.
The palm size deck & box makes these cards prefect for travel. Stash them in a desk drawer, in your car use at a red light. Toss them in your purse. Now it's possible to whip out your cards and receive that message and positive thought at almost any time.
100 Count Deck of Mini Affirmation Cards
So you may be thinking, "what's an affirmation card?"
This is the way I use my affirmation cards... when you choose your card, it is your message for the day, you may be in need of some guidance, in need of some answers to a particular question that's been bothering you, a task that you need to do to get back onto that positive frequency. You can can look at them any way you want but there is a reason you chose that card at that time. They are positive statements to help you develop a more positive perception of yourself. Affirmations can help you to change harmful behaviors or accomplish goals, and they can also help undo the damage caused by negative scripts, those things which we repeatedly tell ourselves (or which others repeatedly tell us) that contribute to a negative self-perception.
There will be some animal spirits, so if you choose that card that day you are in tune with that particular animal spirit guide.
Mantras/ and quotes will be on some.
Some will include "To Do's" ex: List 10 things about yourself you love.. etc.
Some will include chakra elements, ex; This is a time of great healing and love be willing to receive & give compassion today. (heart chakra) And many more!!!
***I do not want the credit for most of the quotes/artwork in this card set - it's all my favorite things and just want to share***
